The 2024 NZAIA Conference will follow the format of a series of invited presentations and discussions. However, there is an opportunity for any participant to offer a poster paper. Students in particular are encouraged to participate in this way. It is an excellent opportunity to present and discuss your work in a supportive atmosphere.
Poster presentations can be on any aspect of impact assessment, but posters relevant to the conference theme will be particularly welcome.
The space allowed for each poster will accommodate posters up to A0 size (A1 is a good size). More details about mounting posters will be provided on our website closer to the date of the conference. Please remember that the poster should be readable from a distance of at least one metre.
In addition to the poster, please prepare a written summary of up to one page. Conference participants will find it useful to access your summary online, along with your contact information.
You will be presenting your poster in the lunchtime poster session on Tuesday 22nd October 2024. At this time, you are asked to make an “elevator pitch” (3-4 mins) and then stand by your poster and discuss your work with conference attendees.
Please submit your poster title to [email protected] before Friday 1st October 2024 to ensure inclusion in the conference programme. At least one author of the poster must be registered to attend the conference.
Posters and summaries will be included in the conference proceedings online and you are asked to provide conference organisers with a PDF of both at the conference (please bring these on a USB drive).
