Venue and location
Chateau on the Park, is located at 189 Deans Ave, over the road from Hagley Park and about 3km (30 min walk) from the city centre.  Note the main entrance is around the corner on Kilmarnock Street and about 5 mins walk from the Corner of Deans Ave and Riccarton Road.  The venue has a garden setting and has medieval flavours in its design.  There are plenty of spaces to meet and greet outside the main hall, along with a good restaurant, a café and a bar.
Accommodation
You can stay on site for the conference.  The conference discount to the standard room rate is available using this link
Note the link is set for three nights, 21-24 October, but you can adjust these on this link by selecting the dates at the top of the page and pressing update.
Off site accommodation is available in the city centre and along Riccarton Road, where there are numerous motels, along with hospitality and retail.

Transport
Taxi from the airport to the venue is approx 15 mins.    Main bus routes use Riccarton Road. There is a regular Metro bus to the central city, with routes down Fendalton and Riccarton roads.  Either way, get off at Deans Ave and walk (5 mins) to Kilmarnock Street.
The Chateau has on and off street parking.
If you choose to stay in the city centre, note the walk across the park (30 mins) is attractive.  There are also plentiful share e-scooters plus buses to Deans Ave from the bus depot.
