The 2022 NZAIA Conference format is a series of invited presentations and discussions. However, there is an opportunity for any participant to offer a poster paper. Posters are an excellent opportunity to present and discuss your work in a supportive atmosphere. Students in particular are encouraged to participate in this way.
Poster presentations can be on any aspect of impact assessment, but posters addressing the conference theme will be particularly welcome.
Posters can be A1 or A0 in size. There will be mounting material available on site (tape etc.). Please remember that the poster should be readable from a distance of at least one metre.
In addition to the poster, please prepare a written summary of 1–2 pages. Conference participants will find it useful to take away an A4 copy of your poster, your summary and your contact information.
Poster sessions are held during lunchtime on both days of the conference. At this time, you are asked to make an “elevator pitch” (3-4 mins) and then stand by your poster and discuss your work with conference attendees.
Please submit your poster title, size (A1 or A0) and layout (portrait or landscape) to conference@nzaia.org.nz before 24 October 2022. At least one author of the poster must be registered to attend the conference.
Posters and summaries will be included in the conference proceedings online. To facilitate this, please bring a PDF of your poster and summary to the conference on a USB drive.
